We’re really excited to announce we will be opening the doors of K|E to service users again on 24th August. We’ve worked really hard to create a safe environment for staff and service users and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back.
Service users will have received a letter providing details on how we plan to welcome them back into K|E safely. We will also be updating our social media and website with further details in the coming weeks.
Throughout our closure we have provided virtual support by phone and video calls, this will continue for service users who would benefit from the additional support once we reopen. We are currently running a crowdfunder (https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/keyenterprises) to allow us to purchase some tablets (with data plans) for service users who can’t currently access video calls. The tablets will also be used for video tutorials and activities to help keep otherwise isolated service users involved with the K|E community.
We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our brilliant staff and service users!
We will continue to offer ongoing telephone/video-call support to service users on a daily basis. We will provide further updates in due course about the new procedures we have in place for staff and service users.

WELCOME TO K|E
Key Enterprises provide supported activities from our base in North Tyneside to adults with learning disabilities, mental health problems or acquired brain injuries. Through their involvement with us individuals develop practical skills within our working departments whilst building confidence and a sense of community.
Service users can also take part in a range of community based activities such as bike rides, kayaking, football, music, educational trips and much more. We provide a unique service that mixes adults with differing diagnoses and complexities providing opportunities and experiences found nowhere else.
