Today is international Women’s Day 2021 and despite K|E primarily benefitting men, we would be far less effective without the women who work so hard to shape what we do. On this day, we want to celebrate the achievements of the women at K|E and thank them for making sure our service users receive the best outcomes possible.
Kate – Without whom K|E might very well not exist. Kate has transformed our service into the safe, effective and vibrant service it is today.
Loraine – Who transformed our financial processes, improving transparency and making sure we make the most of our resources.
Maggie, Liz and Jane – Trustees who volunteer their time and significant experiences generously; they are always at hand to encourage, support and challenge.
The theme of IWD 2021 is 'choose to challenge'. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world. This is why we are committing to developing our service further, leveraging our skills and experiences for the benefit of women by exploring projects that benefit women.
