An update about Key Enterprises for Service Users

First of all, I hope that you are safe and well as the last few months have been very difficult for many people.

As you know K|E has been closed since 24th March 2020 because of the Government restrictions aimed at stopping the spread of Coronavirus. During this period of closure, we have continued to offer support over the telephone and via video calls where possible.

We are making plans to reopen our service in a way that is safe for you and our staff. As part of these plans we are working with North Tyneside Council, the NHS and Public Health England as well as following the guidance from government.

Making sure we can support you safely on site involves a lot of work to reduce the risk of spreading Coronavirus. There is still some way to go before we can commit to a date for reopening, but I want to reassure you that K|E will reopen as soon as we allowed to do so. We are working towards reopening in August, but this depends upon the COVID alert level and the advice from government nearer the time.

I realise that you will be keen to see your friends and get back involved with all the activities at K|E. The staff and Trustees are just as keen to see you.

We will be in touch soon once we know more about our date of reopening. In the meantime, continue to stay at home as much as possible and stay safe.
