Meet the team

            Lisa Donnalley, Operational Manager

Lisa has 25 years of experience of working in the charity and 17 years as a member of the Management Team.  Lisa holds an NVQ 5 in Operational Management and Business Diploma. Lisa is responsible for the daily running of the charity.


Shirley Wilkinson, Client Services Manager 
Shirley has worked with individuals with mental health problems and learning difficulties for over 35 years.  She started her career by working as a nurse with people with learning difficulties and continued this by providing community support.  Shirley has supported service users at Key Enterprises and been a member of the Management Team for over 20 years. 
Mark Randell, Catering Supervisor

Mark trained as a chef with the British Army and has worked as a chef and private chef for all of his career. He also has 4 years support worker experience behind him. Mark has numerous qualifications including: catering, food hygiene, health & social care, mental health awareness and lifting and handling. Mark is first aid qualified.



David Younger, IT Technician

David has an essential range of knowledge regarding IT and uses this to keep Key’s IT systems operating.  David is always available at reception and provides support to service users in the IT department.


Henry Wilkinson, Woodwork Supervisor and Health & Safety Officer 

Henry is a qualified and experienced joiner and has worked in the trade for over 40 years. Henry is also our Health and Safety lead and is NEBOSH and Health & Safety NVQ4 Diploma qualified.


                Brian Johnstone, GardenSupervisor

Brian is an experienced horticulturist having worked within amenity horticulture and glass house production for over 35 years and with individuals with mental health conditions and learning difficulties for over 25 years.  Brian holds numerous City & Guilds horticulture qualifications and training and assessor awards. Brian is first aid qualified.

                        Steve Cowgill, Bike Supervisor

Steve has worked at Key Enterprises for over 8 years and has a great working rapport with the service users.  Steve has been involved in working with bicycles, music/bands and recording for over 40 years.  Steve is a qualified electrician and ensures all of Key’s electrical installation/appliances are safe and working well.

Martyn Richardson, RenovationSupervisor

Martyn has over 25 years experience in restoring furniture and nearly 20 years experience of supporting service users.  He holds City & Guilds qualifications in Cabinet Making, Furniture Restoration, NVQ3 in Carpentry and Joinery and City & Guilds 7318 Teacher/Training certificate. Martyn arranges social activities with the service users such as walks, football sessions and outings to see football matches.  Martyn is first aid qualified.

Matthew Darling, Garden Supervisor

Matthew has been working in the horticulture industry since 1989 and has worked in charities providing support for people with learning difficulties and mental health issues for 24 years.  Matthew holds various industry recognised qualifications and a City & Guilds 7318 Teacher /Training certificate. Matthew is first aid qualified.

Brenda Gildea, Finance Officer

Brenda has a wealth of knowledge about Key Enterprises as she has been involved in the finances since Key began back in 1983.  Brenda has worked with accountants as well as running her own bookkeeping/finance service.
