Volunteer Cyclist Needed!
Updated: Mar 3
We've now found our Volunteers, thank you so much for all of your interest! If you would like to be the first to hear of any new volunteering opportunities keep an eye on all of our social media channels, just search "Key Enterprises" on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.
About the opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer to support our weekly 2 hour bike rides. On a Thursday afternoon (when the weather isn't too awful!) we take a group of our service users on a local bike ride from our base in Benton. Using a mix of wagon ways, bike tracks, and small sections of roads we explore the local area in rides of up to approximately 10 miles. To support the staff member(s) who lead these rides, we're looking for a volunteer who could help to support our service users helping them to have a safe and enjoyable experience. If you are willing to be the pilot of a tandem bike that would be even better! Some of our service users are unable to ride independently due to balance issues or lack of road sense etc. By using the tandem bikes we provide, they are able to experience something that would otherwise be unavailable to them.
