Key Enterprises offer a diverse range of activities and services to people with mental health problems and learning difficulties to enable them to move along their individual progression pathway.
We are a VALUE for money service and VALUE all people involved in the organisation:- Service users, staff, referrers, carers, customers, and volunteers.
We provide Living Skills Programmes to assist with INDEPENDENT living: budgeting, literacy and numeracy, domestic skills, welfare rights, advocacy and peer support
Accredited TRAINING courses linked to vocational areas: Food Hygiene, Health and Safety at work and ECDL. Tailor made TRAINING programmes for individual needs: Basic DIY, Cooking for Beginners and Introduction to Allotments. Soft skills TRAINING and measurement including: interaction, commitment, time keeping, confidence, self esteem, self worth and team working. Supported EMPLOYMENT programmes. In house vocational opportunities. Job club programme, including skills assessment, CV writing, interview techniques training, job coaching, job searches, job centre links/visits. Referral signposting to other EMPLOYMENT agencies An integral part of individual mental HEALTH care plans. Mental HEALTH awareness and support. Promotion of physical HEALTH activities including: healthy eating, diet and nutrition and fitness Out reach training in the COMMUNITY. Use of COMMUNITY resources and COMMUNITY assets to access sport and leisure activities. COMMUNITY participation with partners and customers Service Users can meet their needs and desired outcomes by participating in one or more of our training areas, (more information is in our Departments pages), where they carry out voluntary activities and design and produce a range of high quality products in wood and metal.
